ESP Status It exists… 40+ systems live, and staying live Working to improve efficiency, quality (E2E User Experience) - NIC Systems - GP Pan User Group Scope expanding - 20 ISTCs (170 sites) under ECN –December Summary Care Record started (go live March 2007) - Social Services starts 2007 (towards eSAP, ESCR) - Anticipating work on Out of Hours (NHS Direct, Adastra), Screening (Newborn Hearing), Dentists (Note: LSPs responsible for departmental system integration, not ESP)
