Career Journals

Journal #1 Discuss two careers that you would like to research this week. What is interesting about these careers? Why would they be a good fit for you? What do you still need to learn about these careers?

Journal #2 Describe any interview experience you have had so far in your life. If you have none, explain how you think you would perform in a job interview. Then, create a list of the top 5 do’s and 5 don’t’s for job interviews. Example: You should dress appropriately You should NOT use your cell phone

Read over the 50 most common interview questions, pick three questions to answer on the back of your journal #2. Be prepared to share an answer.

Journal #3 Describe your views on college. Do you think a college degree is necessary to succeed? What do you think shaped your views on college? Journals #1-3 are due tomorrow.
