RPM/Belgium N.V. - Version MONOPUR GB MONOPUR ® INDUSTRY The heavy duty polyurethane concrete floor system for extreme service conditions

RPM/Belgium N.V. - Version MONOPUR GB Formulation  Monopur ® products are polyurethane mortars. The curing is a poly- addition reaction between a polyol and an isocyanate. The reaction product is called an urethane.  The higher the crosslinking, the higher the chemical resistance and thermal resistance. The reaction is influenced by temperature and on some of the Monopur ® products, humidity (H 2 O) can have some side reactions. O - R1 - OH + R2 - N = C = O => - R2 - N - C - O - R1 H POLYOL ISOCYANATE URETHANE

RPM/Belgium N.V. - Version MONOPUR GB Definition and advantages  High chemical resistance!  Resistant to hot water!  High mechanical resistance  Antislip characteristics  Non porous  Odourless  Resistant to constant moisture exposure A solvent free hybrid polyurethane mortar

RPM/Belgium N.V. - Version MONOPUR GB Application areas  Dairies  Meat and fish processing  Bakeries  Industrial kitchens  Cooking areas  Breweries  Areas with hot water  Areas with a load of organic and inorganic acids

RPM/Belgium N.V. - Version MONOPUR GB Application Instructions Preparation of the substrate  The substrate must be clean, free of oil and fats. Scarifying is the best preparation, because it opens the surface and enlarges the contact surface. Application of the Monopur ® Industry Primer  After mixing, the primer is applied with a consumption of about 350 – 500 gr/m². The wet primer is sprinkled with quartz for better workability of the mortar. After curing of the primer, the mortar is applied with a trowel or a rake in a thickness of 6-9 mm.
