DESCRIPTION BondChem’s Roll-a-crete is a three component chemically engineered, polymer modified, cement based system for waterproofing concrete and masonry. Roll-a-crete is a breathable, light bodied, waterproofing finish that penetrates into the pores and voids and becomes an integral part of the surface to which it is applied. Roll-a-crete has a texture and consistency similar to concrete and is designed to be applied with a roller. It assures complete protection against water penetration by waterproofing the positive sides, yet it allows walls to breathe. Safe for use on potable water containment surfaces. ADVANTAGES 1. Suitable for potable water APPLICATION Roll-a-crete is used to provide a waterproof, chloride and carbon dioxide resistant coating to cement bound / structures such as concrete masonry, stones, marbles, granite, etc. TYPICAL PROPERTIES 1. SURFACE PREPARATION Surface should be clean, dry and free from oil, grease, curing compound, any loose materials and foreign particles. The substrate should be firm, in case of gaps and cracks, fill with suitable sealant and ensure surface is even. Prior to the application of Roll-a-crete, apply a single coat of BondChem’s Surface Preparation Agent. MIXING Transfer the liquid component to a mixing container. Add the powder component to the liquid and mix using a slow-speed electric drill (300 RPM) fitted with a mixing paddle until a uniform homogeneous creamy mix is obtained. Add 100 gms of ‘Additive A’ and mix for a further 20 to 30 seconds. After mixing, let it stand for 5 minutes. Stir & apply onto the prepared substrate by roller at a rate of 0.250 kg /m² per coat. Application process is similar to that of epoxy coating. Two to three coats are recommended. Previous coat should be allowed to dry (normally 15 to 20 minutes) prior to succeeding coats. PACKING : 24.35 kgs (15 kg Powder + 9.25 kg Liquid + 100 gms Additive). COVERAGE : Each kit of 24.35 kg will cover an area of up to 50 m² in two coats. COLOURS : Grey. CLEANING : Clean all equipment and tools immediately with water after use. STORAGE : Shelf life 12 months when stored in dry conditions at normal temperature and humidity.
