Important Facts Yearbooks Order class rings and announcements at the website: Jostens.com AEHS does not order announcements or class rings. Class rings and Announcements Order online at or bring a check or cash ($79.50) to Mr. Kavlock in Room 152. Yearbooks will be distributed in May. There are less than 90 yearbooks left! Any remaining books available upon delivery will be the full price of $80.

SSL Hours MCPS students must complete at least 75 service- learning hours for graduation. 260 hours earns a Certificate of Meritorious Service and a purple tassel to wear at graduation. LAST DAY to turn in SSL hours= May 22, See Ms. Keller in Counseling with questions

Note from Guidance: Please report post secondary plans to counseling secretary. Notifying counseling allows us to report accurate information and keep Naviance up to date.

Senior Dues Senior Dues = $50 and must be paid ASAP! Dues cover caps and gowns, senior picnic, senior dinner, graduation expenses including flowers, programs, tickets, etc. Make checks payable to AEHS; have exact change if you are paying cash. Dues paid after Friday, May 1 st will go up to $60 and will be entered as an obligation and must be paid to Mr. Ramos.

SENIOR EXAM SCHEDULE Friday 5/22 = Last day work can be turned in Seniors are expected to attend all classes through their final exams. A class is not complete until a final exam is taken or final assessment is turned in. Exam Review 5/15 Exams begin 5/18 and end 5/22. Official schedule available on school website.

“ Heaven on Earth ” Prom is OPEN TO ALL SENIORS Date :Friday, May 1, 2015 Time :8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Place : University of Maryland, Samuel Riggs IV Alumni House College Park, MD Tickets:$50.00 each *Tickets will be on sale April 20 – April 24 (during lunch and after school). Obligations must be paid to purchase Prom tickets. Guest form required if bringing someone from outside the school Copy of the guest’s ID must be given at the time of ticket purchase. Guest forms are available on the senior kiosk on Main Street.

After Prom Sponsored by the PTSA After Prom is FREE to all seniors regardless of whether or not they attend Prom. Only “Guests” of seniors who attended Prom may go to After-Prom. ALL students attending After-Prom must have a photo ID for admittance. Date :Saturday, May 2, 2015 Time :12:00 a.m. – 4:30 a.m. Place :Einstein High School * Information is subject to change. Please check the school website for updates.

Senior Dinner Date: Friday, May 22 nd at 6:30 pm in the AEHS cafeteria Cost: FREE! Tickets will be sold at $5 each, but money will be refunded upon entry to the dinner. This is meant to ensure that students attend and class money is not spent on food for those that do not show up. Tickets for Senior Dinner can be purchased from Mr. Kavlock anytime between April 20 and May 15.

GRADUATION REHEARSAL (MANDATORY) & PICNIC! *Students must attend rehearsal to participate in graduation. Date: Wednesday, June 10, 2015 Time:8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Place: Meet in Einstein Cafeteria

Cap & Gown Graduation Rehearsal Students will receive their caps and gowns last on rehearsal day. They will have to turn in a completed Final Clearance form to receive these! Clearance forms are handed out the during senior exams.

Graduation Tickets *Students completed forms in their English classes for tickets. Each student will receive 5 tickets Requests for additional tickets are to be made ONLY to Mr. Collins and must be in writing or . Requests will be handled in the order they are received. *Students will receive tickets at Graduation Rehearsal.

Graduation Thursday, June 11, :00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Students should arrive at DAR by 8:45 a.m. DAR Constitution Hall 1776 D Street NW Washington, DC 20006

Graduation Day Information Ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. Graduates must arrive at DAR by 8:45 a.m. All parents, family members, and friends must be seated by 9:45 a.m. Doors will be closed at 9:45 a.m. for the procession and will reopen at 10:15 a.m. FLOWERS, NOISE MAKERS OR BALLOONS are not allowed in DAR. Students may not carry any items to their seats, including wearing or carrying flowers, cameras, cellphones, or purses. Students may not make any modifications to their cap or gown, or they will be required to change. Doors open at 9:00 a.m.; no one will not be admitted before then.

Parking at DAR Constitution Hall Metered street parking is available but limited to two hours. Colonial Parking operates a parking garage at 1800 G St. NW, within a few blocks of DAR Constitution Hall.
