1. Dysart High School Congratulations Class of 2016!

2. Expectations Pass all of your current classes. Pass all 22 required credits. Avoid potential loss of credit due to attendance issues. ▪ No appeal no credit. ▪ Appeal is due 1 week from letter. Avoid inappropriate behavior, pranks or actions that will prevent you from walking with your class.

3. Honors and Awards Ceremony Monday, May 9th, 2016 from 6-8 pm in the Auditorium Invitations were sent out via the mail last Friday to students who will be recognized. To recognize scholarship & departmental award winners Parents/Guardians and Family are welcome to attend All seniors should attend to support and recognize their fellow Classmates Meet your award donors in person Practice will be on May 9 th during 3 rd hour (invites only)

4. Senior Finals Thursday May 19, 2016 (Full Day of School) ~ 1 st, 3 rd, and 7 th Hour Finals ~ 2 nd,4 th /5 th, and 6 th Hour Class Regular Schedule Friday May 20, 2016 (Full Day of School) ~ 2 nd, 4 th /5 th, and 6 th Hour Finals ~ 1 st, 3 rd, and 7 th Hour Class Regular Schedule ~ 9:25 am- Mandatory Senior Meeting ~ Graduation Checkout sheet due by 2:15 pm

5. Senior Checkout Past due student fees must be paid by the end of business day on May 13th. All books or other items for current classes that are checked out to students need to be returned by the end of business day on May 20 th. Before or after school or during lunch only!! If you have questions, please go to the Book Store. Senior Checkout was given to you as you came into this meeting. The sheets need to be completed and turned in turn to counseling by 2:15 pm on Friday, May 20 th.

6. Outside Credit Recovery Deadline Any outstanding credits due to the Registrar by May 19, 2016 Official transcript must be submitted to the registrar by this date. If you have outside credits check your transcript to see if the credit shows. If not see your counselor.

The Graduation Process May 23, 2016 (MANDATORY) ▪ Graduation Breakfast 7:30 am to 8:10 am ▪ Practice 8:15 am to 9:45 am Line-up Practice (New Gym and Old Gym) ▪ Cap and Gown Distribution 9:45 am Non-grads may pick up on Wednesday, May 25th May 24, 2016 – Graduation 7:30pm- UOP Stadium Students arrive 6:30 pm sharp with Cap & Gown

8. The Required Steps to Participate in the Ceremony

9. Participation Requirements You are required to be at the Graduation Breakfast and Line-up Practice on May 23, 2016, at 7:30 am. If you do not attend and participate in the Breakfast & Line-up, you will not be allowed to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.

10. Cap and Gown You will receive your Cap and Gown at the end of the Practice on May 23, 2016. Pick up your Cap & Gown at the tables in the new gym. Hang up your Cap and Gown and spray with water to get the wrinkles out.

11. Graduation Ceremony May 24, 2016 at 7:30 pm University of Phoenix Stadium 1 Cardinals Drive Glendale, AZ 85305 Ceremony begins at 7:30 pm (Students arrive at 6:30 pm) ALL parking will be in the West Lots (Orange/Red Lots). Lots open at 6:30 pm.

12. Tickets are not required Graduates are welcome to invite all family and friends. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Entrance is at Gate #1 for all guests. Graduates enter through gate 2.

13. Dress Code - Ladies Dress, Dress Pants, Blouse, Low-Heel Dress Shoes strongly recommended. No Spikes, No Athletic Shoes or Flip-Flops (Dress Sandals are permitted) Beware of hair styles or clips that will not fit under your cap. Hair pins recommended. Official school medallions, lapel pins and honor cords may be worn with the gown. No flowers, sashes or additions to gown allowed. Leave your purses in the car.

14. Dress Code - Gentlemen Shirt and Tie, Polo Shirt, Dress Slacks, Khakis, Dress Shoes. No Athletic Shoes, No Sandals, No Flip-flops. Official school medallions, lapel pins and honor cords may be worn with the gown. No other additions allowed.

15. Graduates are not allowed to carry… Cameras Purses Cell Phones

16. Grads A photographer will be taking photographs at the Graduation Ceremony. Pre-order forms were sent home in the packet ▪ Additional prints and packages will be available to order online.

17. Graduation Video Students/parents can purchase a video of the graduation ceremony for $35.00 ▪ Form was in your packet that went home last week. ▪ Pay online using credit card, or Paypal ▪ Or Pay the day of graduation using cash, check or credit card.
