2 Purpose Participants will:
Receive important dates and information regarding Prom, Graduation, Senior Meetings, and Anne Arundel County Public School Regulations/Policies to be prepare for upcoming events and graduate.

Penalty for Violation by Graduating Students Graduating students who violate Board policies on possession, consumption, or distribution of alcoholic beverages, controlled dangerous substances, counterfeit controlled dangerous substances, non-controlled substances as defined by Article 27, Section 286B of the Annotated Code of Maryland, or other intoxicant at any time during the last four weeks of school prior to the last scheduled day for graduating students, or during the time between the last scheduled day and the graduation ceremony, whether the activity takes place on school buses, within a school building or upon any school property, or during any school, school related, or Board sponsored activity, whether held on school property or at locations off school property, including private clubs, businesses, or commercial establishments, shall be prohibited from participation in all senior activities, including proms, award ceremonies and graduation ceremonies.

6 Previous Policy Reminders
May 1st – June 3rd is the time frame referenced in the previous policy. May 1st, 2016 is the last day a graduating senior can be enrolled in the: Alternatives to Drug Program Responsible Actions Program Anti-Tobacco Use Program If referred to one of these programs, it must be completed to graduate!

7 Graduation Requirements
26 credits are needed to graduate from AACPS. Credits can be withheld due to failing grades. Attendance plays a major role in success. Grades are a calculation of percentage grade from the 3rd Marking Period, 4th Marking Period, and the Exam. 3rd MP = 40% of final grade 4th MP = 40% of final grade Exam = 20% of final grade

SENIOR DINNER AND PROM Saturday May 14th , 2016 BWI Marriot 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. PTSA AFTER PROM BREAKFAST From 11:00 pm – 1:00 a.m. BWI Marriott Requirements to Purchase Prom Tickets – tickets Class dues paid in full ($20 dollars, $30 after spring break) No outstanding school obligations Photo ID Signed Behavioral Contracts for NCHS students Senior Form for all NCHS seniors Underclassman form for a NCHS student attending as a guest of a NCHS senior Completed Outside Guest Permission Form for a person requesting to attend as a guest of a NCHS ***Due by Wednesday, April 27th *** A copy of photo ID for outside guest requests is required

10 Prom Ticket Information
Class dues = $30 Ticket = $70 Prom tickets will be sold May 2nd - May 6th A, B, C and D lunches Exact Cash and Money Orders Only

11 Graduation Details for 06/03/16 10:30am
Cap & gowns must be ordered through balfour.com ASAP- will be distributed after final exams Graduation practice 06/01/16 - 8am at NCHS - MANDATORY – Tickets to be distributed after practice Graduates to arrive at PG Equestrian Center/Show Place Arena at 9am on 06/03/16 Ticket requests- all graduates are guaranteed 6 tickets, may request up to 9 using survey on website & handout.
