Concentration Sorts: Children like pictures. Readers have to hear the different sounds in words. Then they can put the sounds to the letters in words. Use these picture cards with their mate card. Stretch the letters out to indicate the sounds. Help your children learn to hear the sounds in words and see the letters in the words. Matching the pictures, words, and sounds will strengthen your child’s reading skills. Speak the words as you play this game.
