More Info Mouse and Keyboard- Improper height and angle of the keyboard, mouse, or working surface can cause people to bend their wrists or lift their arms for extended periods. Wcan occur is carpal tunnel syndrome. Carpal tunnel syndrome is an extremely painful condition caused by compression of nerves in the wrist. You can also buy a wrist rest for your keyboard and an ergonomically designed mouse to prevent any further damage. Work Surface and Chair- The work surface may need to be raised or lowered to keep the operator's arms in a comfortable position. Try to adjust the position of the keyboard and the mouse so it is in a more comfortable position. Also if it is too hight or low you can adjust the chair height appropriately. Monitor- Move monitor closer or farther from your head and put it at a comfortable level. Make sure you are not straining your eyes. Don’t move any closer then 65 cm. Posture- To prevent permanent damage to your back, neck or other parts of your body make sure you are sitting up straight and you are not straining your neck. To fix posture problems change height of desk, monitor or chair appropriately. Also, you may need to habit train yourself to sit straighter and to take breaks through the day. BACK
