Jacob Leslie Heavy equipment operator Or Electrical engineer

Heavy equipment operator Construction equipment operators work in nearly every type of climate and weather condition. Workers often get dirty, greasy, muddy, or dusty. Most work full time, and some operators may have irregular hours. Some construction projects, especially road building, are done at night.

Electrical engineer Is a field of engineering that deals with the study and application of electricity. They design complex power systems and make layouts of where to put power lines and circuits.

Working conditions Heavy equipment operators usually work in all types of weather and are exposed to toxics substances Electrical engineers mostly work in an office drawing up blue prints and they see field action after storms and power outages

Qualifications You can learn hands on in the job field or you can go to an apprenticeship program for 1-2 years to become a heavy equipment operator Must have a 4 year degree from a university to an electrical engineer

Education Associated Training Service or ATS would be a great place to go to school they give you hands on training with the equipment and etc. The Milwaukee school of engineering would be best because. They got small class sizes you get on the job training while in school plus I got family in Milwaukee so it would be a nice fit.

Earnings Heavy equipment operators make around dollars an hour and make about thousand dollars a year Electrical engineers make around dollars and an hours and make about thousand dollars a year.

Degree You don’t need a degree to be a heavy equipment operator you can just go through an apprenticeship program You need a bachelors degree in engineering to be an engineer

Cost of degree There really isn't any schooling on this if you just learn hands on It would cost 34,541 dollars to attend the Milwaukee school of engineering

Similarities Both dangerous jobs Both require lots of training

Differences Most heavy equipment operators work outside in all weather and a lot of engineers sit inside at a desk drawing things up

Preferred choice My preferred choice would be a heavy equipment operator because I have always been interested in heavy machinery and how it works and I’ve always wanted to be a construction work ever since I was little so yeah……and that’s a real sweet pic of a mustache
