7 A web developer is responsible design, layout, and coding of a website. They also keep up with existing websites. Web developers are employed for lots of different departments. If a business needs a website, they normally have a web developer that makes the website for them. A web developer normally works between 37-40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. It is normally in an open- plan office environment. Open-plan offices are unlike cubicles because they don’t have walls so there isn’t much privacy. Web developers are needed everywhere but there are lots of opportunities in the UK and especially in the South East part of the UK.

8 This field is pretty generalized because they are needed in lots of different departments. All you really need to know is computer programming to an extent and graphics. Employers look for applicants that have a variety of degrees so they don’t just have to have a business or computer degree as long as they are good problem solvers and have a basic knowledge of computers.
