1940 version2005 version Elizabeth Bennet Mr. Darcy

Mrs. Bennet had no other wish if her five daughters could get married as soon as possible with someone wealthy. One day, a very rich man, Mr. Bingley, moved into Netherfield Park.

That's the most heartening piece of news since the Battle of Waterloo!

Mrs. Bennet was so excited that she could not hold her manner and declared publicly she would have a daughter married soon. But the first sight, Elizabeth and Darcy didn’t make a good impression on each other. They just seemed to be enemies.

After few months of time, her eldest sister Jane fell in love with Mr. Bingley. And Elizabeth seemed to get along well with Mr. Bingley’s friend, Mr. Darcy, also a very rich man with 10 thousand pounds a year.

Everything is going well until Mr. Darcy heard Mrs. Bennet said that in order to draw Mr. Bingley’s attention, she sent Jane to Netherfield on raining day intentionally.

You can use your imagination and think about what will happen next And then…

At last, the two people finally abandoned their strong pride and prejudice to each other, and lived together just like prince and princess.

Living together is not as easy as you imagine. He is proud. She has prejudice against him. But once they throw away all these meaningless things, just make it up, it won’t be difficult any more.

What felicity!

Elizabeth She was a great woman with her own thoughts. As is said in the movie, she was stubborn.stubborn But she is also a woman of all virtue, She is independent, self-respect. She dare resist authority. The minute I saw her in the movie. I was deeply addicted with her charming eyes and beautiful smile.

Gradually, her personality charm capture my heart and soul. So, you shall not miss the movie where Keira Knightly play a role in. It must be a spiritual baptism for you. However, the movie made in 1995 was also worthwhile to watch. It’s closely follows Jane Austen’s original. but it’s a bit more long and harder to understand, for there is no subtitle in this movie.

Conclusion In short, Pride and Prejudice tells us a romantic love story. Different people may have their own opinions about this story. Some may deep into society aspect, some may think about women’s rights. But how do you think of it after watching the movie is your own business. What you need to do next is to watch this movie the moment you come back. Don’t miss it.

Thank you!!
