Rosings The estate of Lady Catherine De Bourgh

Where Mr. Collins lives A small home near Rosings which belongs to the minister of the church on the estate

A very fashionable area of London where Caroline Bingley stays when she is visiting her sister Mrs. Hurst

A less fashionable area of London where people live that have some money but are solidly middle-class

Where people go when they say they are going “to town”

Where Darcy lives

The town near Darcy’s estate where Mrs. Gardiner had lived for a time.

A seaside town where the regiment moved to after leaving Meryton This is where Lydia was when she “eloped” with Mr. Wickham

If you were going to elope, this is where you would go It is a town in Scotland, where you could get married without waiting for a license

Is in the county of Derbyshire

“I have told Miss Bennet several times, that she will never play really well unless she practices more; …she is welcome…to come to Rosings every day, and play on the pianoforte in Mrs. Jenkinson’s room. She would be in nobody’s way…in that part of the house”

“So your sister is crossed in love, I find. I congratulate her. Next to being married, a girl likes to be crossed in love a little now and then. It is something to think of, and gives her a sort of distinction among her companions. When is your turn to come?”

Lady Catherine’s daughter – Lizzie’s says “I like her appearance….She looks sickly and cross. Yes, she will do for him very well. She will make him a proper wife.”

“You are too sensible a girl, Lizzy, to fall in love merely because you are warned against it; and therefore, I am not afraid of speaking openly….Do not involve yourself or endeavor to involve him (Wickham) in a affection which the want fortune would make so very imprudent”

“A sensible, gentlemanlike man, greatly superior to his sister, as well by nature as education”

“My comfort is, I am sure Jane will die of a broken heart: and then, he (Bingley) will be sorry for what he has done.”

Is the person, that, having met Jane and Elizabeth returning from the Gardiners, they say (she) “seldom listened to anybody for more than half a minute.”

Tells Elizabeth that Darcy “congratulated himself on having lately saved a friend from the inconveniences of a most imprudent marriage.” He’s talking about Bingley and Jane

“In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.”

Is the housekeeper at Pemberley and tells Lizzy that Darcy was a good master, with never a cross word since he was four.

Is the person who first informs Lizzy that Darcy played a major role in halting the relationship of Jane and Bingley

Is the person who helps Wickham try to seduce Georgiana Darcy And Is the person who reveals to Darcy where Lydia and Wickham are hiding

Lets it slip that Darcy was the one who paid all of Wickham’s debts and made him marry Lydia. He was right by Wickham’s side to make sure the wedding took place. We can only assume that there was a financial arrangement between Wickham and Darcy that allowed the newlyweds to have some yearly income.

Tells Mr. Bennet that Darcy wishes to marry Elizabeth

Visits Lizzie to confront her about marrying Darcy. Lizzie explains to her that he has not proposed. Lady Catherine returns and tells Darcy that Elizabeth has informed her that she would marry Darcy if he asked but he has not asked. This gives Darcy hope that Lizzie would marry him. Lady Catherine’s plan to keep them apart has backfired.
