SCOUTS Youth themselves will help select the Troop Leadership Team The Program Map is designed to help Troops and Patrols choose their own adventures while maintaining a balanced program Trails can be done individually, as a patrol, or as a troop.

SCOUTS Chief Scout Award will remain, however the requirements will change (announced in May 2016) Personal Achievement Badges will be available to earn, and will be more aligned with the Cub Scouts Badges in order to allow for a personal progression to take place The Court of Honour (or the Troop Leadership Team) Consists of the Troop Leader, Assistant Troop Leader, and all of the Patrol Leaders

SCOUTS Scouters Roles will fundamentally change in the new program Scouters need to really let go and let the youth learn on their own (with guidance) – provide options but allow them to learn from their mistakes as long as they are not dangerous It is a lot harder to be a Scouter than a Leader, but the rewards are endless!
