SURVEY RESULTS COMENIUS PROJECT 2013 „SHAPING THE FUTURE WITH OUR HANDS”

1. From what country are you? Students from Poland more often participated in the survey. Only male respondents in Polish and majority in Spanish teams expressed their opinions.

2. What is your gender? Male students are majority of survey respondents

3. Are you aware of the aims and topics of the project? About half of respondents are aware of the project aims and about 35% know a little.

4. How do you feel in regards of your future in general? Nearly 70 % of respondents are optimistic and feel confident about their future

5.Do you know how to apply for Universities in other European countries? Majority of students nearly 80% do not know how to apply for foreign universities

6. Do you know how to apply for jobs in other European countries? It is remarkable result showing respondents’ wide general knowledge regarding applying for foreign jobs.

7. Do you feel you are aware of what happens in other Europeans countries focusing on their labour market? Unfortunately, respondents know little about labour market situation in Europe

8. Would you be interested in attending a University in another European country? More than 50 % respondents are interested in studying but almost the same number are not willing to study in another country.

9. Would you be interested in working in another European country? Majority of respondents would be interested in finding a job abroad.

10. Have you been outside your own country ? Nearly 70 % respondents have already visited foreign countries

11. Do you know what you want to work with/study when you graduate? There are mixed feelings (positive and negative) among respondents as for planning their future just after graduation

12. Do you feel that project can help you develop ideas for the future? That is the great result proving the necessity and idea of our Comenius project !

13. How would you rate your own English skills? Good result showing our students do not have any problems in communicating in English and in working in European team

14. Please, answer what you think the most likely synonym for this English word is: ferry. They have proved their good English skills.

15. Please, answer what you think the most likely synonym for this English word is: several. It seems the results are not bad.

16. Please, answer what you think the most likely synonym for this English word is: occupation. It seems the result is satisfying - 65 % answers are correct.
