Primary FOBISSEA 2014

Which Sports are involved? Football Athletics Swimming Tball Expectation is to compete in all 4 sports. It is better to be an all rounder in all 4, than excellent in just one.

If selected, what is involved? 4x or more training sessions a week (one for each sport) Swimming-probably 2-3x a week

How many children can be selected? Only 12 children per year group – 6 boys and 6 girls. There will also be 1 reserve per year group.

Trials/Training Trials Traditionally these have been held during enrichment in October. Training will start in term 1, after the trials have taken place. A squad will be selected after the trials, then a final team chosen at the end of term 2.

What happens at the tournament? Wednesday arrival Thursday Swimming/Athletics Friday Tball Saturday Football Sunday departure

How much does it cost? Approx cost is $800, however this year the cost should be minimal as we are hosting it. Who do we compete against? Other international schools in South East Asia.

Letters about the trials will be given out in the next few weeks. The letter should then be handed back to the PE office to Miss Wright.
