Presentation transcript:

Do Now Hand in current event (unless you are presenting). Clear desk except for something to write with. After the test… Hand it in. Work on your grammar packet, RST essay, or silently read/write until everyone else is done.

Grab Bag Rules Everyone will bring a small gift. On Weds, 12/23, we will all randomly pick a gift from the bag. Bring your gift to class on or before Weds, 12/23. Keep the gift a secret! Gift should be generic so that just about anyone might enjoy it. Spend no more than $5 (Dollar Tree/5 Below). You can always make something or decide to give away something of your own if money is an issue. Do not just give money. All gifts must be wrapped. Wrapping paper, bag, or any kind of paper that you decorate Be thoughtful! If you can only give something very small, show effort in another way. Maybe wrap it nicely and attach a note. Show appreciation and respect no matter what you open on that day.

Write a letter to an adult Choose an adult in your life who seems guilty of losing his or her childlike imagination, positivity, and/or ability to live in the moment. Write a letter to this person explaining what you learned from this book. As respectfully as possible, explain why you are writing to this person and give some advice about how he or she might learn to “see things more clearly” and live a happier life. Letters should be about one page (one side) in length. They should be neat and show effort and an understanding of the themes in “The Little Prince.” I encourage you to give this letter to whoever you are writing to, but you do not have to.
