2 Sending an email attachment to Santa  Explain how you attached the email. Just click attach and click the folder I want.  Explain why you used the language you did. Because it was suitable.  Include a screen shot of the email you wrote.

7 Muddled Emails  Santa is new to using his email.  He has emails from elves, from children and from suppliers.  How can he keep these in order so they aren’t muddled up? Explain how you can use folders to sort out emails. Explain why this might be helpful. Include a screen shot of your email folders.

8 Address Book  Add your regular contacts to your email address book.  Why is it important to be able to do this?  Include a screen shot of your email address book.

9 Away from Email  Santa is new to using his email.  He is going to be very busy over Christmas and would like your advice about setting up auto messages. Write an explanation of what an auto message will do. Include reasons they are important to have. Explain how you can set one up. Add a screen grab of your own auto-reply.

10 Email Safety  Santa is new to using his email.  Give him a list of tips and advice for staying safe on his email.  Explain why each tip is important to do. Don’t tell anyone your password so other people don’t know it Only speak to people you know because they could be paedophiles and dangerous Add people you know because you can trust then if you know them. Don’t open attachments because they could be a virus. It you was in a public computer don’t leave yourself log in because they could like do things on it. (Minimum of 5 rules. Each rule needs a reason to follow it.)

11 Email Netiquette  Santa is new to using his email.  Explain what email netiquette is.  Give him a list of tips and advice and describe their importance. Be polite because they could send it to someone else if your rude. Correct grammar because if you was trying to get a job you will need good grammar. Don’t use capitals letters because they might think you shouting. Keep your password a secret because you don’t want people to use it and send emails to people. Formal writing because if you was in a job and messaging your boss and speak to him without formal writing would he still want you in his work. (Minimum of 5 rules. Each rule needs a reason to follow it.)

12 No email  Santa is new to using his email.  He can’t receive any new emails or send any emails.  What might the problem be? Not logged in try to log in. Internets down- check your connection When people send you an email don’t come through maybe he could check he is using the right email address.

13 Full Email  Santa is new to using his email.  He is concerned about the number of emails he has received and he is running out of space.  Explain what archiving is and how to do it. Emails that you get but you didn’t ask for and just advertising their products but you don’t need it that’s a spam email. You should delete these. An unnecessary email something what happened a year ago and you don’t need it no more because it already happened. You should delete these. Describe how you can archive messages. Explain why it is important to do these things… (This bullet point needs a full paragraph in your own words.) Archiving is when you delete emails you don’t need from your email but first you save them on your computer because there are still important to keep. You might save them on the hardrive because you can always getting them back or you could save it on a USB, and then you could keep that on your USB, and you could keep that USB with you, and you can open when you need to open in like in a meeting you could open it and show everyone else. When you archive an email it will stay as an email so if you want to put it back in your email it would be like it was never gone when you put it back in you inbox.
