Know thy Neighbor DON’T PUT YOUR NAME ON IT!!! Two interesting facts about you. What was your favorite part of summer? What activities/clubs do you participate in at BHS. Why you signed up for Management? Anything else you think we should know about you.

Student Generated Expectations Step 1. Importance of expectations Step 2. “Jot Thoughts” Topic and time limit Write and announce idea – one per slip of paper Place in center of table and attempt to cover table. Step 3. Management - Rules Rules at home are different than rules at school. You don’t have to like our rules, just follow them. Be on time – in your seat ready to work when bell rings. Bring text book everyday Come prepared to work Do not line up at the door before the bell rings. I will dismiss you, not the bell. Restroom – if you need to go then go. Try to wait until we have a break in activity. Food and Drink – allowed (except computer lab) Put trash in trash can. No sharing food – unless it is with me. Language – inappropriate language will not be tolerated. Ex. No complaining/whining unless you have a solution to the problem.

Management – Learning Expectations Take part in discussions. Give thought when answering questions. ZAP Participate in activities When we work in groups, everyone must all participate/contribute. IT IS OK TO MAKE MISTAKES!! In fact, they are welcome.

Management Expectations Will not tolerate negative words/actions towards peers. Goal is to build sense of community in room.

Management- Expectations What do you expect from me? I will treat everyone with respect and value all opinions. I will give my best effort to make create diverse activities for learning. I will be prepared for class I will try to make learning fun!
