When is it used? Passato Prosisimo (Past Tense) narrates specific actions or events that occurred in the past, at a definite point in the past. Io ho mangiato gli spaghetti (I have eaten Spaghetti)

How is it used? Passato Prossimo uses the verb To have followed by the subject verb + -ato, -uto, or -ito. -ato is used for verbs that end with -are such as Mangiare or Giocare -uto is used for verbs that end with -ere such as Dovere or Avere -ito is used for verbs that end with -ire such as Dormire or Capire Examples:- Io ho dormito (I have slept) Tu hai avuto un cane (You had a dog)
