Capacity Building and Awareness 1.a) Establish a UN/ISDR facilitated inter-agency training institute/ centre in Incheon, Korea b) Develop joint course modules dealing with CCA /DRR within the existing programs. - SAARC Disaster Center, ASEAN/AHA, ISDR, ADPC, ADRC APCICT, etc. c) National centers (e.g. National Disaster Reduction Center of China) – 5 countries 2. Organize an awareness raising workshop at different levels and sectors - Media, private sector, parliamentarians, community

3. Training for trainers 4. Establish a national website for awareness raising. Usage of media (TV, paper media). 5. Capacity building for data gathering, data processing, information interpretation and knowledge building, and end products for dissemination – capacity building and awareness activities 6. Set standards/guidelines/ manual for CCA/DRR 7.a) Establish scientific +STC technical platform/committee (STC) b) Linkage/dialogue between STC and practitioners (communities)
