Social Media By: Jose Martinez

Introduction ●Is social media a good or bad way of communication? ●Imagine yourself living in another state or country and your family lives thousands of miles away. You really miss them and want to be with them but unfortunately you can’t so you contact via Facebook, Skype, texting or any other kind of social media.

Body-Need Step ●According to “Media’s Impact on Society”, social media greatly affects businesses, schools, and a way for people to communicate. ●“Media’s Impact on Society” also states that social networking sites, like Facebook, lets us communicate with friends and family around the globe with just a click of a button. ●According to “Facing the Future of Social Media”, social media help students on communicating with their teachers and friends.

Ramification ●Since technology had advanced since the past few decades according to “Pew Research Center” about 80% of society use social media since 2013 and still growing.

Pointing ●Since social media impacts schools and businesses, it can greatly affect you. For example, you have an essay do the next day and wants to turn it into the teacher but he/she isn’t available. So you the essay to ensure you do it on time and get full credit.

Body-Satisfaction ●Statement Solution: Now I want to see you guys, the audience, to see the many possibilities social media can connect to one another. Let’s try to adapt to social media and make more possible ways of communicating. ●Explanation: If we adapt to social media, we’ll have more ways of communicating. We can help each other by talking and getting rid of problems we might have.

Body-Visualization ●Positive Visualization: If we follow through what I explained earlier we can open doorways and connect to each other. For example, I can use social media to send a lovely message to my mother telling her that I appreciate her everyday. Also, I can contact my old friends to see how they are doing and see if we can meet up to catch up on time we haven't spend together. ●Negative Visualization: If we don’t expand social media, businesses, schools and and society will become more difficult to communicate with one another. For example, businesses can spread the word of the products or services they are providing that many people can use and benefit from it. Also, schools can have trouble communicating with each other and to peers and students.

Conclusion ●Restatement of Purpose: By what we discussed about social media, we can sure say that it’s a good way of communication ●Summarize Main Points: We went over the positive effects of social media, I showed you how it affects society, and how it effects in education.
