2. How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? The obvious one would be how it affects your chances of getting a job. In this new age with technology it's not surprising that now, companies would search the person they are interviewing online. They do this to sort of see how the interviewee acts outside of work and is a much more better representation compared to a questionaire in a office. This itself could affect whether or not you get the job.

4. Another way that your digital footprint may affect your future would be in connections and friendships. No one wants to become friends with a guy who turns out to be a massive slob and a bad influence. If people find negative things about you that dis- interests them, than it also affects (tying back to previous slide) if you can find a job or even if you can find good friends.

5. Strategies to keep your footprint safe and appropriate Review before you post online. You can't delete what has already been sent, so make sure you think about the message first.

6. Strategies to keep your footprint safe and appropriate Think before you click, because if you click the wrong things you can leave an impact onto your future just because you ruined your online reputation through clicking the wrong sites or people

7. Strategies to keep your footprint safe and appropriate Don't overshare! A good precaution to make, don't share everything you do. Don't you still want privacy? If you overshare you no longer have that freedom, and it starts to become risky as people will know everything you're doing at anytime.

8. What did I learn and what you can learn too I actually learned quite a bit through this assignment, specifically certain strategies to manage my online profile. All simple things that you may overlook, have a second email, change your passwords frequently, watch what you post online, etc. Because from what I read, “sending is like publishing-forever.” (Full list of tips link on final slide)

9. How can you spread awareness? A lot of the time people don't realize how vulnerable they are online. When it comes to awareness it could be as simple as telling them through, face to face, posters, and images. (like to the right) But you need to first explain to them the risks so they understand the reason behind the pre-cautions.
