Presentation transcript:

Expectations You must bring your file to every single lesson You should bring your text book to every lesson too. You will arrive at every lesson on time and ready to learn. This means you will bring your stationary with you, paper and any work set. You will be given 1 hour of homework for every 1 hour of lesson time. This will be posted online for you so that you can complete it even if you for any reason were not in class. You must have a parental note for any absences, this must be given to Miss Francis. – You must not be absent for job interviews, work, driving lessons etc. You should read around your subject, you’re very lucky that there is lots in the news about Business and Economics, keep abreast of what is happening and try to relate it to what you have learned in class and through your independent study. We will respect each other in lessons and around the college…and just in life!

File Organisation Really really important, you’ll gets lots of notes and handouts throughout the year. Keep them in order – I’ll label handouts with topic numbers, please do the same with your lesson notes. – This way if you are missing any topic notes it will be easy to see which ones. Use file dividers – I have ordered these for you Make sure everything is hole punched or in a plastic wallet.

File Order Economics course handbook Expectations (this file) – File divider Marked work – File divider Unmarked Class notes – File divider Handouts The layout of your folders and the work that you complete should reflect that you have a strong sense of pride in the work that you are producing.

Remember: Any work to be marked or class notes must be written in blue or black biro. I will mark in any colour biro except for green, blue or black You then need to do any updates in green biro.
