Use the dividers to sort your notes into sections, so write these headings on them: General course information Assessments Aggression (paper 3) Gender (paper 3) Biological Rhythms and Sleep (paper 3) Depression (paper 4) The Psychology of Anomalous Experience (paper 4) Psychological Research and the Scientific Method (paper 4) Revision materials

2. Organising your folder Make absolutely certain that you transfer all the information from June and July into the correct sections Place your AS research methods pack into the Psychological Research and the Scientific Method section for future reference

3. Best Practice… Bring your notes to each lesson. Make sure you have a working pen with you. Do not be late. If the lesson has begun you are expected to wait outside before being allowed in. Complete all homework without fail Find out when the subject extensions are and use them when you need support Always help staff and other students Get involved with the lesson at all times

4. Advice from a student who improved their grade from AS to A2: One of the reasons I think I went up a grade from AS to A2, other than the fact that I did work a lot harder, is that I kept all of my notes categorised all year so that when it came around to revising it was a lot easier. Therefore in A2 I did most of my revision from reading my notes and taking notes from my notes rather than being dependant on the revision guides, this is in contrast to how I revised in the AS year as I only really used the revision guide in AS.
