Decision Making Leadership

Introduction Decisions must be made everyday. – An individual decides to go out or stay home and watch television. – Decisions must be made for organizations to function. Organizations must decide on activities, dues, membership requirements, etc. – Good decision-making skills are important for everyone!

Motivation – Continued Who has regrets about a decision they have made? What are your regrets about the decision? How could you improve your decisions?

Motivation What are you going to this coming weekend? – How have you determined what you are going to do? What are you going to do as a career? – How have you come to this decision for your future? Complete WS 1.2 in groups no bigger than 4

Leaders should help the group maintain an orderly process for making decisions. Group members should work with others members, through discussion, to make decisions. All members should assist the group in finding the facts about a decision to be made.
