Graduation Requirements  48 credits are needed for graduation (12 cr./yr.)  1 credit is awarded for each semester course passed  Recommended: 6 credit classes & a study hall each semester  Students may elect to take 7 classes and no study hall

CHS Graduation Requirements  English – 8 credits (4 yrs.)  Math- 6 credits (3 yrs.)  Social Studies- 4 credits (2 yrs.)  Science- 4 credits (2 yrs.)  Health, P.E., Driver’s Ed.- 8 credits (4 yrs.)  Electives- 18 credits _____________________________________________ Total = 48 credits

Athletic Eligibility at CHS  Must pass 5 classes the semester prior to season to be eligible  During the season one must be passing 5 classes on a weekly basis  Eligibility is checked every Wednesday

Future College Athletes  NCAA Eligibility Requirements  Core Classes: English, Math, Science, Social Studies & Foreign Languages  Must get good grades in core classes all 4 years 

20 minute Individual Appointments  Appointments are strongly encouraged, but not required this year  Appointment times are Feb. 1 st – 5th, from 8 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.  Parents who schedule an appointment on Feb. 1 st do not have an advantage over the appointments on Feb. 5th  Appointments will be held at the middle school

Online Appt. Scheduling  The window to schedule an appointment on Skyward opens at 8:00 a.m. on January 14th  All parents are encouraged to make their appointments through Skyward. If you do not have internet access or need assistance, call to schedule your appointment.  As of Feb. 1st, the online scheduling closes. Parents must call the middle school to schedule an appointment after Feb. 1. Call

Things to remember…..  Take the packet home, talk about your classes with your parent  Encourage your parent to schedule an appointment  If no appointment, you must return your green registration form to the office by Feb. 1st
