10 Grading System Grading is based on a 4.0 scale. Honors courses -.5 (half) extra quality point. AP and SCC courses - 1 (one) extra quality point. All 9 th -12 th courses included in rank Class rank determined by ranking all students numerically by weighted GPA Class rank calculated at the end of each semester (MS courses for HS credit are not included in rank but are included in total credits toward graduation.) 10 Point Grading Scale: A = 90-100 B = 80-89 C = 70-79 D = 60-69 F = 0-59

15 Registration Plan CCMS – Monday March 14th NCM – Monday March 14th Middle School and High School Counselors will assist students on Chromebooks and answer questions on March 14 th. Registration will be online utilizing the Parent/Student Portal and PowerSchool. Please email any questions to high school counselors.

16 How Can Parents Help? Go to https://ncmcs.powerschool.com/public/ Login with your child’s ID and password. (Your child’s teacher and counselor have this information if your child has forgotten it.) Use the edit button (pencil) to select a course. Click ‘Okay’. When you have finished selecting all your courses, select SUBMIT at the bottom of the page.
