Homework Policy Homework Monday-Friday Students are responsible for taking home their homework packets. Students will ALWAYS have Spelling, Reading, Sight Words and Math homework. Science and Social Studies is occasional. Students must complete homework EVERY night independently. Homework is checked on Fridays. MyOn Reader and Reflex Math are mandatory technology grades. Please login daily.
Uniforms Complete uniform is to be worn EVERY day Boys- khaki pants, white / hunter green / yellow school shirt, black or brown shoes or sneakers, belt, and shirt tucked in. Girls- khaki pants or khaki skort, white / hunter green/ yellow school shirt, black or brown shoes or sneakers, and shirt tucked in. Sweaters must be solid hunter green- NO LOGOS. FRIDAYS ONLY: Students are allowed to wear their M.A.E. T-Shirts with jeans (must bring $1).
Volunteers 30 Volunteer Hours per family. 30 Volunteer hours per family, if there is 1 or more siblings in this school. (Hours should be divided equally amongst each child’s teacher.) Field Trips School Functions Materials for Academic Learning. Office Supplies Gift Cards Classroom Supplies Every $1 = 1 Volunteer Hour (accompany receipts whenever possible.)
Birthdays Birthdays can be celebrated during lunch time. Please notify me ahead of time if you are planning a celebration. All visitors must be approved and cleared by the office prior to chaperoning any school event.
