Mechanical characterization First insulated reacted ten stack (cable H11EC0146A - RUN 103A) sent at CERN beginning of April to be tested first with its insulation, then bare SPITN01 : reacted insulated PIT cable SPNTN05 : reacted bare cable to be used as the reference for PIT cable. 2 reacted stacks (cable H11EC0146A - RUN 103A) at Saclay waiting for impregnation SPITI01 and SPITI02 To be tested under full compression cycles at CERN 09/06/2015 FRESCA2 Expert meeting - Cable behavior duriong reaction 4

Mechanical characterization A dummy impregnation has been done end of July to validate FRESCA2 samples insert and procedure Modification of a part of the insert is needed to improve demounting process Few parts modification and new Teflon coating to be done 09/06/2015 FRESCA2 Expert meeting - Cable behavior duriong reaction 5 Impregnation test on an insulated Roebel dummy cable made at the same time

Mechanical characterization – Saclay tests Modification of the tooling for mechanical test at Saclay to be started this month Antoine Bonelli arrived on September 1st, temporary technician contract for 12-months.
