Victorian Chocolate and sweets In the 1800s, the biggest chocolate manufacturers were Frys and Cadburys. In the Victorian times they had sugar mice.

Fruit and Vegetables In London Covent garden was the city’s main fruit and vegetables.

Cookery Books In the Victorian times there was cookery books.

Milk Milk was delivered straight from the Victorian farms.

How to keep food fresh If you want to keep food fresh then, you have to put it in a Victorian dry air syphon refrigerator. There were no freezers in Victorian times. There is a larder for cold storage.

Meat Meat had to be protected in the hot weather because of the flies. Flies were a big problem with meat in Victorian times. If the Victorians did not have an oven to heat or cook there meat they, would go to the bakery and get it cooked for them.

Jams Jams and preserves were also made by poorer people in the countryside.

The Bakery Bakers chopped and bake food for people without stoves.

Victorian Servants The Rich Victorians had servants to cook there food for them. The Victorians servants used reflecting ovens. The cook was in charge.
