Canyon-Owyhee School Service Agency (COSSA) is a public school cooperative serving the special education, gifted/talented, career & technical, and alternative education needs of students from Homedale, Marsing, Notus, Parma, and Wilder School Districts.

Formed in 1969, COSSA is the oldest public school cooperative in Idaho Consortium School Districts Include: Homedale Marsing Notus Parma Wilder

Positive Placement Rate: (2014 graduates) Job Post-secondary Military Automotive Technician – 100% $12.00/hr Pre-Engineering – 100% all in college Diesel Technician – 100% $10.17/hr Health Occ (CNA) – 91.7%$10.23/hr Health Occ (EMT) – 83% $ 8.38/hr Commercial Welding – 89% $11.57/hr

Immediate Economic Impact – 2014 Graduates Economic calculation is the number of “employed” graduates in each program area, times the average hourly pay, times 2080 hours (40 hours per week x 52 weeks per year). Total = $392,558.40

COSSA Academy graduates = averaging 28 per class in past four years Positive Placement for 2014 graduates = 73%
