2 Enrollment Update 28, We serve nearly 30,000 people annually across all of the areas of the college from degrees to short-term career training. The academic transfer degrees – fully transfer to the 4 year institutions in Idaho. Dual credit are high school students taking high school college courses while in high school. Career Technical are the programs that earn an AAS, diesel mechanic, automotive, machine tool, welding. Basic skills are our English second language and GED courses. Finally, workforce development are our short-term training courses that lead to a job.

3 Degrees and Certificates
A look at our production --- we had more than 16-hundred degrees, and certificates awarded last year. We see tremendous growth in the sciences and technical certificate areas. We work with over 40 Technical Advisory Committees that are made up of local business and industry specific professionals who advise us specifically on their needs for our graduates. CWI graduates are HIGHLY employable.

College of Eastern Idaho College of Southern Idaho College of Western Idaho Idaho State University Lewis-Clark State College North Idaho College CWI is one of the workforce training centers in the state, I have counterparts at 5 other institutions that focus on short-term training. 5 Regional Focus Apprenticeship – HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing
Manufacturing – Welding, Drafting & Mechatronics Healthcare CWI regional focus, is similar to others in the state, and here is a breakdown of the sectors we focus on the in the Treasure Valley, serving over 8,000 students last year. As noted 65% of our focus currently is healthcare, this ranges from Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, AWM – these are taught on site at CWI and with facilities at their locations. Another One highlight is CWI has over 1500 electrical HVAC and plumbing students in years 1- 4

6 Current Trends Scaling programs for demand and growth, evenings and weekends Connecting students to career networks and job boards Growing registered apprenticeships Increasing engagement with regional economic development agencies Current trends scaling CWI WD programs for growth in demand areas, through increase master calendars and groupsize, offering classes with robust groupsizes Talent Shortage - Connecting students to jobs and careers, the career and job network will be supported through the workforce training center, and this is purposeful to connect workforce students to jobs ApprenticeshipIdaho and supporting the related instruction Economic development agencies, are a strong partnership with CWI and the Workforce Training Center Ex. Of the partnership is Heartland RV, did a site visit to expand their business to Nampa, CWI was an instrumental partner in supporting Heartland decision to expand in Namp Here are examples of a few companies that we have engaged, custom training for mechatronics at GO GO Squeeze Met with Kenworth last week, to provide technical to embark on apprenticeships for their current employees One last example is medical assistant (MA) we have developed several cohorts with St. Lukes and St. Al’s employees in the cohort, one of the students works in the kitchen and after her 9 month MA training, she will work for the hospital as a medical assistant
