2 A Trade is:  A skilled job, typically one requiring manual skills and special training.

3 Vocational schools  Vocation: job  A vocational school is a Trade School  a school that focuses on:  providing graduates with marketable skills.

4 Common examples include: maritime academies esthetician colleges culinary schools automotive repair training programs training for medical technicians. After graduating from such a school, an individual will be able to immediately enter the job market with his or her skills and be able to receive a high rate of compensation.

6 What were your interests?  Based on your interests which trades/programs would you be interested in?  Pick 8

7 What were your personality traits?  Based on your personality traits, which trades would you be most suited for?  Example: if you are shy, should you work as a hairdresser? Why or why not?  Eliminate 4 of those 8

8 What were your credentials?  Based on your credentials (your skills) which of these 4 trade schools would you be likely to be accepted in?  Eliminate 1 (this leaves you with 3 trades)

9 Pick 3 trade schools:  Pick 3 trade schools in the Montreal area that would make sense for you given your interests, personality, and credentials
