William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet A Day in the Life of a Star Crossed Teenager A Time Line Of Events

Sunday - The Prince declares no more civil brawls. -Romeo is heartsick over Rosaline. -Lord Capulet gives a party. Tybalt sees Romeo at the party. Romeo and Juliet meet and fall for each other.

Monday -Romeo and Juliet are Married! Monday is a busy day for our young lovers. Many events take place. -Romeo and Juliet are Married!

Monday One hour later… Tybalt KILLS Mercutio! Romeo KILLS Tybalt! The Prince BANISHES Romeo from Verona.

Romeo spends the night with Juliet… Monday Romeo spends the night with Juliet…

Tuesday Romeo leaves Verona. Juliet learns that her father has promised Paris her hand in marriage. Juliet refuses Paris. Capulet threatens Juliet.

Friar Lawrence and Juliet come up with a PLAN. Tuesday Friar Lawrence and Juliet come up with a PLAN. She will take POSION that will give her the appearance of death. Her family will bury her and forget all about her marriage to Paris. Friar Lawrence will let Romeo in on the Plan by way of a letter delivered by another Friar. When Juliet wakes up Romeo will be there to take her away to live happily ever after. Juliet tells her father that she will marry Paris. JULIET TAKES THE POSION….

Romeo is told of Juliet’s death. Wednesday Juliet is DEAD! Juliet is buried in the family tomb. Friar Lawrence’s letter outlining the PLAN never reaches Romeo. Romeo is told of Juliet’s death.

is still alive, Romeo takes poison and DIES. Wednesday Romeo goes to Verona and enters Juliet’s Tomb. Romeo KILLS Paris. Unaware that Juliet is still alive, Romeo takes poison and DIES.

Early Thursday Morning Juliet wakes up. The Friar discovers the bodies of Paris and Romeo. Friar Lawrence begs Juliet not to join Romeo in death.

Early Thursday Morning Juliet takes Romeo’s dagger and STABS herself. Juliet is DEAD.

Thursday The Prince’s men discover the bodies. The Prince demands to know what has happened. The Friar confesses to the Prince and both families..

Thursday Romeo and Juliet finally end the feud between their families not in MARRIAGE, but in DEATH. Hate is a Vicious CIRCLE
