Higher Talk Unit – Assessment Criteria In order to pass the Talk element of the Creation and Production Unit, you must demonstrate that you can participate actively in detailed and complex spoken activities by doing the following: Selecting significant ideas and content, using a format and structure appropriate to purpose and audience; Applying knowledge and understanding of language, in terms of language choice; Communicating meaning at first hearing; Using significant aspects of non-verbal communication.
