Digital Literacy Presented by: Naomi Baker, Peace Ohide and Zafana Haq

What is Digital Literacy? Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA) –Digital media literacy is often understood as the ability to access, understand and participate or create content using digital media. Wikipedia –Digital literacy is the ability to locate, organize, understand, evaluate, and analyze information using digital technology

Our Definition Digital literacy is the possession of skills imperative to the use of digital technology including communication tools and networks. These skills include the ability to understand, locate and use information which is in multiple formats and from varying range of sources. The information is then created into new digital media (text, sound, images) through digital manipulation by interpreting and reproducing the media.
