Locating an Image on the Web and Pasting into a Word Document Math Module 7 Mrs. Jensen

Step 1 – Locate and click on the Blue E to launch Internet Explorer.

Step 2 – Locate a picture of an object you would measure with your desired tool.  You can search for pictures using the Search bar. Type the word of the object you are trying to locate. For example – “wooden door.”

Step 3 – Pick one of the pictures of the object from the pictures that appear on screen.

Step 4 – Right click on the picture you have chosen and select “copy” from the list of options.

Step 5 – Open the Microsoft Word Document “I would measure this with a…” ◦1. Click on Microsoft word from the desktop. ◦2. Click File and Open. This should be the first file available to open.

Step 6 – Locate the place within the word document that you would like to place the picture you have located. Right Click and select Paste.

Step 7 – The picture should now appear in your word document. If the picture is too big, select a corner and resize the picture to a smaller size.
