Who has an account? All staff in the on-line Personnel Directory All Skyward parents Students with addresses in Skyward Student without addresses have accounts – Their password is their Skyward “Other ID” – They will not be able to change their password – If they forget they will need to provide an in Skyward Accounts are updated every 24 hours.

Site Types Public-Closed for classroom websites – Anyone can see a Public-Closed site and download files – Only members of a Public-Closed site can leave comments. – Students cannot be members of Public-Closed sites. Private-Listed for students to post files, comment on blogs, work on wiki – Only the site name is visible to non-members – Students (or parents) must be members of a Private- Listed site to even see the site
Is membership necessary? No, anyone can see content and download files from classroom sites But, someone must be a member of a site: – To leave comments – To create or reply to forum posts – To create or edit wiki pages – To have other abilities granted by the site owner
