5. Using a Wiki…. A Wiki is an everchanging document, like wikipedia You can set restrictions to who can change it but the point of a wiki is to update and make changes as you go No user name or password needed unless you set it that way It is a publishing and writing site that continuously changes I am not sure this is a good choice but you now know what one is!

6. Using a blog…. Think of a blog as an online diary It is a web log, blog You can post and change things without anyone making changes but you No user name or password needed

8. Go to Scholastic.com, (click on it)Scholastic.com Once you are at Scholastic.com, look to the lower right Find the word CONNECT Click on Teachers Learn More Click Register Now Fill out the information Write down your user name and password!

9. Scholastic.com continued… You will then be directed to the classroom builder page Walk through the steps You might have to play with it a while or a couple of times to get it how you like it Make sure you set a parent/student login and password that it easy to remember! Write it down too!

11. Creating a FREE Wiki….Click here! Click on the pictures of the wiki’s and you will go there You can create one to learn about them also! Just remember to write down your user name and password!!

12. Create a BLOG!!! Click on which one you would like to try Follow the prompts Remember to write down your user name and password!!!!

13. Let me know which one you use! Write it down and put it in my box Email me Invite me to your page, wiki or blog, if you get to that point…. So I can link you in to our new website!!!
