ABC diversity champion’s guide A Diversity Champion is a senior manager who is a figurehead and role model for a particular area of diversity. The objective of the role is to “champion”, encourage and support managers and employees, across their area, to develop, implement inclusive practices based on diversity. 3

Diversity champions-attributes Strong leadership skills Strong desire to assist the division to be inclusive of people by diversity A genuine regard for inclusion based on diversity Confidence (or willingness to acquire ) in relating to diversity Senior management 4
