I DEAL T ECHNOLOGY CLASSROOM I pads or tablets (enough for each student) Smart board or Large Screen TV (for the Teacher to project his/her lessons) E texts as well as hard cover texts

W AYS TO USE T ECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM 1. Use the Smart board to teach and engage all learners in all areas of Education. 2. Utilize Raz-kids to assess and meet students at their current reading level. 3. Harness the power of the website Moby Max to assess students in the areas of Math, Reading, Writing and Science. (IEP Goals) 4. Make use of Google docs for collaboration and assessment. 5. Drill and practice software during centers/computer lab time.

T ECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN PROVEN TO ASSIST ALL LEARNING STYLES.

G IVING TEACHERS OR STUDENTS TECHNOLOGY, NEEDS TO BE A TWO STEP DANCE. Just because you give a child a device, does not mean that they will learn. The same is true for Educators. There must be a clear purpose and professional development to marry the ideas of technology and learning. This is where I come in: I am an educator who is a good collaborator who is driven by technology. Motivated to assist all colleagues and students achieve and grow with the support of technology.

T HANK YOU FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY !
