Four Types Of Regions

Political  A political nation is defined based on government or sharing of rulers.  Nations can be described as a democracy, anarchy, aristocracy, monarchy and oligarchy.

Economic  An economic region is based on the types of work people do.  A few examples could include agriculture, manufacturing, information technology.

Cultural  A cultural region is defined by the sharing of customs, beliefs, and religion.

Population  A population region is defined based on where people live.  The three types include rural, suburban and urban.
