1. Assist Councils in Establishing & Communicating Goals Meet with Council Officers for Strategic Planning Session at the beginning of the fraternal Year (This is a District Deputy Requirement!); Help them establish their Council Goals for the Fraternal Year; Council’s should establish a Membership Plan and General Program Plan; Help them understand the importance & benefits of planning, budgeting, etc.; Suggest a plan for communicating these Goals to the Members!

First Degree Council Exemplifications… Every council can and should be conducting their own First Degree…. Conduct Regularly Scheduled District Meetings Council visitations do not take the place of District Meetings; District Meetings Invitees and Attendees should include: Grand Knight, Deputy Grand Knight, Membership Director, Financial Secretary, General Program Director, Trustees and Field Agents; District meetings MUST be twice a year (minimum) and ideally quarterly (District Deputy Requirement!); Prepare Meeting Agenda in advance and follow it!

DISTRICT MEETINGS: Should be held at least quarterly… invite GK, DGK, FS, Membership & GP Director, Field Agent. Meet in council room, a home or in a restaurant – breakfast meetings work well… Meeting can build a tight fraternal bond within District.
