 Communicated through intercom or from a Moore High staff member.  Teachers should request any student immediately outside your room to enter quickly and lock your door.  NO ONE is to be released from the classroom for any reason.  If a LOCK DOWN is ordered during passing period, students should enter the nearest classroom immediately and the teacher should lock the door.  If a LOCK DOWN is ordered during lunch, students should go to the nearest lockable room.

 Doors should be locked, students and staff should get away from any doors or windows, lie flat on the floor, and turn out the lights.  You should respond immediately to any administration, teacher, or law enforcement directions.

Our primary evacuation site is the football stadium. All outside buildings – (Portables, Agriculture/Horticulture, ISD, 800 and 900 buildings), Sports complex (100’s) and 400/500 buildings will proceed south along the walk-way and will enter the track through the west center gate at the bottom of the hill and will proceed to class location on the field. 600 – buildings will proceed down the Far East stadium stairs to enter the track and proceed to class location on field. Fine Arts building will proceed down the far west stadium stairs to enter the track and proceed to location on field. Housekeeping will follow the procedures of the building they are in at the time of the evacuation and report to the main office/counselor site for your instructions. Room 608 and 609 will proceed out the east doors. They will follow the same directions as 600/700 buildings but will be housed in the student store/concession. During passing period/lunch – faculty/students will report to the football field, evacuation plan, the hour they just left. Before school – faculty/students are to report to the football field, evacuation plan, for their first hour. After school – faculty/students are to report to the football field, evacuation plan, for their sixth hour

 Once your class is at its designated area, have your students sit down on the turf single file. You will have better control of them and it will allow the office staff to better locate your class and students.  Designate the first student in the row to hold up the neon yellow classroom number located in your To-Go bag  Take roll and fill out your evacuation site form. Have one of your students walk it to your designated grade office reporting site.  All buildings will return to their classrooms the same way.

THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS DOING AN AMAZING JOB CONDUCTING OUR SAFETY DRILLS!
