Peer Editing Checklist 1.Trade papers with the person sitting next to you. 2.Write your name and your peer’s name at the top of the peer editing sheet. 3.You will have forty minutes to read, complete the checklist, and make comments on your peers paper. I am giving you this much time because this is how much time it takes to do it CORRECTLY. *You will notice on the peer sheet that there is not a checklist for paragraph one, that is because paragraph one was provided for you.*

Self Editing Checklist Upon receiving your edited paper: Read through the comments made by your peer. On a separate sheet of paper, create four sections (one for each paragraph) Within each section, create a checklist of SPECIFIC changes you need to make for that paragraph. Use this checklist over the weekend to revise and edit your paper. Your final draft should be a reflection of the amount of time and resources you were given. Checklist
