Objective: The students will describe events in the Ottoman Empire that lead to violence by identifying the motives and results of Russian expansion in the Balkans. Hand-In: Map. Drill: 1. Explain the purpose of Britain’s Parliament. 2. How is Britain’s Parliament similar to the U.S. Congress?
