Deuteronomy 7:17–21 (ESV) 17 “If you say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I. How can I dispossess them?’ 18 you shall not be afraid of them but you shall remember what the L ORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt… 21 You shall not be in dread of them, for the L ORD your God is in your midst, a great and awesome God.

Exodus 14:24–25 (ESV) 24 And in the morning watch the L ORD in the pillar of fire and of cloud looked down on the Egyptian forces and threw the Egyptian forces into a panic, 25 clogging their chariot wheels so that they drove heavily. And the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from before Israel, for the L ORD fights for them against the Egyptians.”

Exodus 15:3–4 (ESV) 3 The L ORD is a man of war; the L ORD is his name. 4 “Pharaoh’s chariots and his host he cast into the sea, and his chosen officers were sunk in the Red Sea.
