REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL NON EU COUNTRIES WISHING TO EXPORT ANIMAL PRODUCTS TO THE EU Government must have good disease reporting and eradication policies Government must have Residue Monitoring Plans Government must have Safeguard measures in place. Must have good CA at central and local levels

Non EU Countries must be APPROVED by the EU Commission before they can export to the EU 1.. Inspections carried out by European Commission Food and Veterinary Office 2.Inspection report sent to EU Commission Standing Committee on Food Chain and Animal Health (SCOFCAH) 3. The Non EU Country must be a member of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) 4. If approved the Non EU country will be listed as an approved country for export of animal products to the EU 4
