Directed reflection. Perform tasks; consider questions. On your essay…. Underline your thesis. Does it take a clear position? Underline topic sentences. Do they clearly support your thesis? Circle specific support (evidence) used. What types of examples are given? Is there a variety? Star the paragraph(s) that include(s) the concession/refutation. Highlight transition words/phrases. Find three verbs that could be upgraded and change them (you can use the list of verbs on your RIP word list). Writing Reflection
